Laparoscopic Surgery

Laparoscopic Surgery also known as minimally invasive or keyhole surgery has significant advantages for patients as it produces smaller scars and faster recovery times. It is however technically demanding so that many hospitals in india presently perform advanced surgical procedures using this technique.

Endoscopic Thyroidectomy

Thyroidectomies using the open method are effective, well-tolerated and safe but involve transverse incision on the neck measuring 7–10 cm in length. Thyroid disorders are more common in women and they find these scars uncomfortable and cosmetically unacceptable. Hence, minimal access approaches are playing an ever increasing role in neck surgery as they result in a reduction in size or elimination of the scar on the neck.

Advantages

Scarless Surgery

Eliminates the discomfort commonly felt after cervical operation, which contributes to the patient’s well-being

Stappler Haemorroidectomy;
a painless surgery for piles

Hemorrhoids or Piles

Piles are hemorrhoids that become inflamed. Hemorrhoids are masses, clumps, cushions of tissue in the anal canal - they are full of blood vessels, support tissue, muscle and elastic fibers.

Hemorrhoid surgery (hemorrhoidectomy) is a surgical procedure that is performed to remove hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are swollen veins surrounding the anus. They occur inside or outside the skin of the rectum. As the surgical site is very sensitive area, hemorrhoid surgery causes a lot of pain. •  Incisions are made around the anus to cut the hemorrhoids out. Special staplers or sutures may be used during the surgery. Hemorrhoid surgery is an effective form of treatment for hemorrhoids. However, after the surgery, the patient should eat a high fiber diet and maintain good hygiene to avoid recurrence of hemorrhoids.

- Pain medications may be prescribed to relieve post operative pain.

- The patient can recover in two weeks after the surgery.
